Whenever you visit any website, information is logged on the webserver hosting the site. Information includes the date and time, page visited, size of the page, browser used and the link clicked on to reach the page. We summarise this information for statistical analysis.Session (temporary) cookies are used by the site for controlling access (for people that can log on to the site). Non-registered users can switch the cookies off without affecting the website.
Members
Those people that are registerd on the site have a unique logon id and this is used for access control.Additional information (such as name and email address) is also kept for the purpose of checking identity and for maintaining accounts. Users are able to see and edit all the information that is stored about them and update it to keep it current.
A log of major actions (such as creating a new page) is kept to help prevent abuse.
The website administrators are able to see any data collected on the website. At this present time the administrators are the GSL and the Webmaster.
