So, what's it all about??
Welcome to the 6th Southgate Scout Troop. The Scout section gives young people the opportunity to do many activities including climbing, archery, camping, hiking, sailing and more. Scouts meet once a week on a Monday to play games, learn traditional Scouting skills, and have fun. Weekend camps happen several times during the year and we aim to have a week long camp every summer. Whilst at Scouts, the young people can gain badges that they can display on their uniforms. These cover anything from snow sports to survival, musician to master at arms, photographer to pioneer.The Scout Troop is run by a young but experienced leader team, who are very much in touch with the needs of the young people. They lead active lives themselves and have a lot to share with the Scouts.
